The Multistate Trust is evaluating and remediating waste rock, tailings, and related contamination at the Site, especially near residential areas.

The Multistate Trust
The Multistate Trust is a private, independent environmental response trust created as part of a bankruptcy settlement and dedicated to protecting human health and the environment. Since 2011, the Multistate Trust has been responsible for owning, investigating, and cleaning up the Site, and facilitating its safe reuse. Visit the Multistate Trust website.
